Hello, friends.

I know when I am visiting a website, I am more interested in what the authors have to say than I am the ads and affiliate banners on each page and post. Sometimes it’s a welcome feature, and sometimes it’s a pain in the ^&% eyes.

In the articles, I will provide only ads and banners related to the content of the post. All other ads from sponsors will be on the Sponsor Page of the main menu, which is where you are now.

If you choose to look at banners and maybe some ads, and I hope you do occasionally, you can come to the Ad Page and see all of them at once. If you like what you see here you can click on a banner to see what the vendor has to offer.

I understand this is an approach that’s not been done before on this platform. I am hoping it will make the reading experience better for you, the visitor. Please be kind enough to tell me what you think of this approach to advertising on a website. There is a ‘Contact Us’ button on the bottom of the screen. There is also a comment box at the end of this page. Your feedback is not only encouraged but needed to help improve your visitor experience.

Thank you for your assistance.

Ad Page/Sponsors — 4 Comments

  1. Hi Barry, as I begin to promote more affiliate programs and add them to my site, I thought it was beginning to look cluttered and distracting. I too thought about having one page designated for my ads as well. I personally like it. Right now I am on my smartphone and I will check it out on my laptop as well. I would like to know how this new concept works out for you.

    • Hi, Suzette. Thanks for the comment. This is a new concept for me and has been in use only a couple weeks. Time will tell the story. I’m not seeing much traffic on the ad page yet, but I’m hoping it will pick up soon. I’ll let you know.

  2. Hi Barry,
This is a great idea, I mean this ad page. I was wondering how one could advertise something different from one’s niche on one’s site.
Wishing you the very best with this page!

    • Thanks for the encouragement. I am still not sure how effective this page will be. Visitors have to be willing to look at nothing but ads when they see this page. Hopefully, it will gain some traction soon.
